I am so happy to announce that Mario proposed to his love Lauren and she accepted.
Mario and Lauren are a beautiful couple. Lauren has been such a wonderful force in Mario's life and I am so grateful that they met and fell in love. They will do wonderful things together. They will set fire to the world.

I watched this couple on the beach
two folding chairs so close
to the ground - not a space
between them
sweetly positioned toward the setting sun
deep in thought, deep in prayer,
so in love even the seagulls took notice
as they filled the quiet of the evening breeze with soft laughter and silent conversation
holding fast to each other, to the night, to the moment, to the memory
and there and then
time stood still...
